Thrive Cambodia is a non-profit, non-government education-focused organisation that is dedicated to providing support to the Som Rong Village community, Siem Reap Province, Cambodia. We believe that education is the key to a thriving community and are committed to:
- Funding Sim’s free English Language School
- Providing lunch daily for up to 50 children
- Ongoing support for families to enable children to stay in State School and go onto Secondary and High School
- Supporting community access to health services, clean water and sanitation
Sim’s Free English Language School
Sim’s Free English Language School is a free after-school program that was conceived of and is managed by Shin Eorn (Sim).
$4000 per year provides FREE english language tuition for up to 50 children in the community including a daily meal.
Tuition is provided by local State-qualified teachers.
The healthy meals are prepared by Sim’s family and supplement the children’s diet.
